The Villa, pool and outside facilities more than lived up to the description on the web site. However, the pictures do not do justice to the space available, which is far bigger than it looks on the web site. The pool is fantastic when combined with the bar, barbecue and outside eating area and whilst the beach immediately outside the villa garden wall is stoney, the children really enjoyed the sandy beach 100 meters to its left. The local Irish restaurant/ bar was within a 5 minute walk, which provided a good choice of food for all age groups and with the added bonus of a late night opening corner store only 50 meters way, enabled us to replenish supplies when back at the pool was not a problem!! There is also a local bakery nearby which is great for freshly baked produce for breakfast. We all loved the sea view at the back of the villa, the sea was warm and great for swimming. The villa is located in a rural area which was quiet and away from all the noise of a large resort or! town. Sue the concierge was a credit to Meon being both informative and helpful with her local knowledge. All issues were dealt with swiftly and quickly and we loved our 2 weeks stay.
