Il Castelletto, Torrita di Siena

On the border of Umbria and just north of Montepulciano is the superbly located Il Castelletto. With good access to Siena and Arezzo, Il Castelletto is an ideal choice for combining relaxation and sightseeing. Il Castelletto is a former farmhouse with ten simple but spacious apartments. Many original features have been retained giving a genuine feel to this charming property. There is ample space in the garden for dining al fresco, with a swimming pool (normally in use May-September) and a sunbathing area commanding beautiful views of Torrita di Siena and the local countryside.

Villa Layout

Meon offer a choice of five different apartments. Each offering a traditional and authentic taste of Tuscany. All apartments feature a gas hob, small electric oven and fridge freezer.

Dalia sleeps 2-3 people and is a charming one bedroom apartment on the ground floor. In addition to the kitchen/living area (with a single sofa bed) there is one double bedroom, bathroom with bathtub and small private terrace.

Gelsomino sleeps 2-4 people and is a great ground floor two bedroom apartment. Enter into a small dining area with kitchenette area with one single divan bed. The apartment offers one twin and one double bedroom. There is a bathroom with bathtub. Guests here also have a covered verandah overlooking the pool.

Papavero sleeps 2-4 people and wonderfully situated on the ground floor. Enter into a dining room with kitchenette area with two single day bed. This is followed by one double bedroom. There is a bathroom with bathtub. Private terrace for outdoor dining, overlooking the Tuscan countryside.

Salvia sleeps 2-3 people and located on the ground floor. Spacious with a living/dining with kitchenette area and two arm chairs. The main bedroom has a four poster bed with shower room and private shaded terrace.

Verbena sleeps 2 people. 1 bedroom. On the ground floor. Living/dining room with kitchenette area. One double bedroom. Shower room. Shared garden area. Located in a detached building next to the pool. Entrance to a large living and dining room.
