Just a mile from the village of Limite and 3km from Montelupo, these delightful converted farmhouses are a great base to explore Tuscany. Il Borgo di Montereggi have carefully preserved the beauty and charm of the original 16th century structures. The Marmugi family, who own the property, produce their own wine and olive oil here. There is a communal barbecue area and a large swimming pool (normally in use May-Sep), whose large terrace has lovely views over the countryside. Meon offer the eight apartments in the main farmhouse (Colonica 1) with its wooden beamed ceilings plus a cosy communal lounge which has a television, video and a stone fireplace. The kitchen areas are all equipped with a 4-ring gas hob, an electric oven and a fridge. Il Borgo di Montereggi offers peace and tranquillity, whilst being only half an hour away from Florence. The small town of Montelupo, with several banks, restaurants and stores, is about 3 miles (5km) away.

Villa Layout

All apartments have twin beds that can be made up as doubles on request. The kitchen areas are all equipped with a 4 ring gas hob, an electric oven and a fridge. New for 2011, all apartments feature satellite TV.

One Bedroom Apartments sleep 2-3 people.
Agrifoglio, Alloro, Camomilla & Malva are situated on the ground floor with private terraces (except shared entrance for Camomilla). Each has a patio with chairs, living room with French divan bed and kitchen area. One bedroom with shower room complete these apartments.

Edera & Fiordaliso are situated on the first floor with shared entrance and communal lounge. There are 19 steps to these apartments. Entrance into the living/dining room with French divan bed and kitchen area. This leads onto a separate bedroom and shower room. Edera has a communal area outside with table and chairs.

Two Bedroom Apartments sleep 3-4 people.
Biancospino is on the ground floor with private entrance to the living/dining room with kitchen area. A small step takes you to a twin and double bedroom complimented by two shower rooms. Table and chairs outside.

Genziana & Papavero is on the first floor (19 steps) with a communal lounge area. Enter into the living/dining room and kitchen. One twin and one double bedroom & 2 shower rooms.

Girasole is on the ground floor with a private entrance into a living/dining room with kitchen area. Staircase up to one twin bedroom, a second smaller twin bedroom and two shower rooms. Table and chairs outside.
