Standing majestically on top of a hill, Villa Selena is on the site of Vigla, surrounded by vineyards. Reached by a private unmade drive, the villa's spectacular views look out to the Lasithiotika Mountains in the east and the peak of Psiloritis in the west. Panoramic views of the glorious Cretan countryside, the town of Heraklion and the sea in the distance can also be enjoyed.
Beautifully appointed and totally private, Villa Selena is the ideal villa for complete relaxation and pampering in tranquil and stylish surroundings. The ancient site of Knossos and other archeological and historic sites are just a short drive away and the area also offers climbing, walking and cycling tours, speleology and other activities. There is also a chance to sample the wines produced on the surrounding estate.
Villa Layout
Main accommodation set over one level. Open plan living space with sitting room and open fireplace. Dining room. State of the art kitchen. Three double or twin bedrooms located in two separate wings with three bathrooms (two with showers and one with a shower and whirlpool bathtub). One of these bathrooms also has access from outside the separate wing, to service the living areas and garden. Extensive lawned gardens with volley ball and football as well as a children's playground area. Shaded dining and sitting pagoda looking over the pool with built in barbecue.
